About

This tournament will earn points based on where they placed at the event for the Player of the Year points list. Points will be accrued until a specific cutoff date for the Section Championship where players will be invited off of the points list. Points will also be accrued through May, June, & July to determine invitees to the NOPGA Tour Championship at Club Walden. Players who win their age division at an event will be automatically invited to both Championships.

Players must meet eligibility requirements for the National Junior PGA Championship in order to play in the NOPGA Section Championship.

11-15/16-18 - Points will be received for both the NOPGA Junior Series and the Junior PGA Section Championship

19 year olds are not eligible to play in the Junior PGA Section Championship but will receive points for the NOPGA Junior Series Player of the Year list at any 18 hole event

*It is very important to note that to move forward to the National Junior PGA Sectional Championship, you must be 11-18 years of age and have not entered college. You must also live in the Northern Ohio Section.

Junior PGA Championship Qualifier

Winner of a Junior PGA Championship qualifier will automatically qualify for the Section Championship and the high point winners will be selected after the Winners have been invited.
